Sometimes I need words, I need pictures, I need beauty to capture thoughts that won't materialize. It's almost elemental, necessary, sustaining- just like water. This is a shoutout to all the beauty/brightness/ sadness/pain/redemption I find when I’m looking for it. And sometimes when I’m not. All images and quotes belong to their respective owners. xo Vix |

Touch
Epic show. Who knows how many lives have you’ve touched?

I just realized this today…and maybe you’re the same way, but I’ve never been able to leave anyone behind. Its like a piece of me stays with the people I’ve known. I remember the smallest of interactions with past friends, and the most passing of mentions and references refreshes my memory- and I wonder where they are now, and if they’re happy, and if they ever think of me, too. This is my life on a chain.

These days I’m really captured by stories of pushing, of striving, of endurance. It seems like a rare thing these days, to really try for something, push for dreams, and strive towards a goal. Maybe we’ve come by everything too easily, maybe we just haven’t had a reason to… whatever the case, I’m ready to start pushing, exploring, growing. And I can’t help but think that when I do, this adventure will really start taking shape. More than just existing… here’s to living.
New Year’s Eve (2011)
Let’s take chances this year, let’s live a year we’ll be proud of, and let’s always try to be kind, because that seems to be what the world is missing the most.

Hey everyone! I notice I have alot of new followers out there and I’m grateful for you all. You’re so special. As 2011 comes to an end I’m thinking about the things that went right, and the things that went wrong this year, and being honest, there was quite a bit of both. Not only in my life, but in the world in general. People losing jobs, people getting second chances, politicians being politicians, famines and floods and unrest, hope springing up around the world… altogether it seems like its been a tumultuous year. But the thing I like the most about New Years Eve is that special feeling that things can change… and that it will be for the best. I’m praying for a year where peace will flourish in the world, and in our individual lives.
Let’s have three cheers for 2012.
With heart. With love.
